My name is Mason (SISU) Buchanan. I am an artist and illustrator based out of Austin, TX.
I have been making and studying art my entire life. I work in a traditional watercolor (pen and ink) medium and also have been illustrating digitally for many years.
While freelancing I have done commissions for commercial, personal, and editorial based clients all over the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. My illustrations have been used for book covers, commercial and independent business logos, infographics, album artwork, hand painted signage and murals...etc.
My subject matter has been described as “precise” and “detailed” as well as dark and humorous. I pride myself in working with my clients to bring them clean and marketable illustrations, but always making work that stands out from a creative point of view for corporate clientele or someone looking to bring a unique and original piece of artwork into there home or office.
